November brings Camaro Month to the Kansas City Automotive Museum, where we’re celebrating five generations of one of America’s most iconic muscle cars—the Chevy Camaro. From its debut in 1968 to its modern revival, the Camaro has carved its place in automotive history with bold design, impressive power, and an undeniable presence on the road. Each generation tells its own story, and this month, you can experience them side-by-side.

On display this month:

      • 1968 Camaro SS Convertible (1st gen): The original icon, bringing style and muscle together in a way that defined an era.
      • 1980 Camaro Berlinetta (2nd gen): A sleeker, more refined take on Camaro’s legacy, with a focus on comfort without sacrificing power.
      • 1987 Camaro IROC Z (3rd gen): Known for its sharp handling and performance, this model defined 1980s cool.
      • 2001 Camaro SS (4th gen): This generation pushed the envelope with modern performance enhancements that brought the Camaro into the 21st century.
      • 2011 Camaro Callaway 2SS (5th gen): A masterpiece in engineering, showcasing the Camaro’s revival with a Callaway upgrade, known for adding exhilarating power and a distinct edge.

After November’s powerful Camaro showcase, December will spotlight Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg automobiles—pioneers of luxury and innovation, celebrated for their signature designs and groundbreaking engineering.
