Join us for the exciting auction of the Kansas City Automotive Museum’s 2024 Art Car at the prestigious Mecum Kansas City 2024 this December! The Art Car, a stunning 2017 Ford Mustang Convertible, will be displayed at the Kansas City Automotive Museum and the lead sponsor’s showroom before going under the hammer. This masterpiece was transformed by talented students from the Olathe Advanced Technical Center and Olathe North’s Distinguished Scholars Visual Arts Academy. Their unique design and craftsmanship combine automotive innovation with creative artistry.

In 2017, the Museum’s first Art Car, a Volkswagen Beetle designed by local high school students, raised over $6,000 at the “Dancing with the Cars” gala. This year, we’re aiming even higher. All proceeds from the auction will directly support the Museum’s educational programs, helping inspire future generations while preserving Kansas City’s rich automotive heritage.
