Minor Waiver

MINOR WAIVER: By selecting “Yes,” I, for myself, my minor child, and our representatives, acknowledge and agree to the following conditions for participation in Kansas City Automotive Museum, Inc. (KCAM) events and entry into restricted areas:

  1. We have inspected or will inspect the event/restricted area and find it safe. We will immediately remove ourselves and the minor if we believe it becomes unsafe.
  2. We release, waive, and discharge KCAM and all associated parties (Releasees) from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on account of any injury (including death) or property damage to the minor or ourselves, whether caused by negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
  3. We agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost due to the presence or participation of the minor or ourselves in the events or restricted areas, whether caused by negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
  4. We assume full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death, or property damage, including risks due to negligence of Releasees, while participating in or observing events or being in restricted areas.
  5. We understand that event activities are very dangerous and involve risks of severe injury, disability, and death, which may be compounded by negligent rescue operations.
  6. This Agreement extends to all acts of negligence by the Releasees, including negligent rescue operations, and is intended to be as broad as permitted by law.
  7. We consent to our photo/likeness/recordings being posted publicly and on social media.

We have read and voluntarily agree to this Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement, understanding that substantial rights are being given up and intending this to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
