Cars & Coffee and Model T Ford Meet & Greet
Step back in time and experience the legendary Model T Ford at our free public event!
This interactive experience will be located outdoors, giving you a rare, hands-on opportunity to learn about how the Model T was operated and maintained. Bring the whole family, take pictures, and see (and hear) the Model T in action. Owners will be on hand to answer your questions and share fascinating insights.
Come see what it was like to:
- Have a car without wheel brakes, gas pedal, or gearshift
- Hand crank the engine
- Use Acetylene to light your headlights
- Learn about an engine with no oil pump, water pump, nor fuel pump
- Discover an ignition system that uses Alternating Current (A/C)
- Sit behind the wheel and experience the 3 famous pedals
Also enjoy complimentary coffee and explore the museum with reduced admission of just $5. Remember to keep it fun and safe – no burnouts, no reckless driving, and always respect the space and each other.
