All German Car Show Celebrates German Automotive Excellence at The Underground
The Kansas City automotive community is gearing up for an exciting showcase of German engineering and style at the All German Car Show on Sunday, October 6, 2024. The event, running from 9:00 AM to Noon at The Underground (600 W 31st St, Kansas City, MO 64108), brings together enthusiasts from across the region to celebrate iconic German marques.
This annual event is hosted by five premier German car clubs: the Kansas City Region Porsche Club of America, the Heartland Chapter of BMW Car Club of America, the Audi Club of North America – Kansas City Chapter, the Mercedes Benz Club of America – Kansas City Section, and the MOKAN Volkswagen Club. Each organization will showcase a stunning array of vehicles, from classic models to the latest innovations, providing an exciting opportunity to see the best of German automotive craftsmanship and performance.
The All German Car Show is a unique opportunity for car enthusiasts and the general public to explore a diverse lineup of vehicles, connect with club members, and enjoy a morning filled with automotive passion. Whether you’re a fan of timeless classics or high-performance sports cars, this event promises something for everyone.
“This show is a celebration of German engineering and camaraderie,” said Jeff Wagoner, Founder and Board Member of the Kansas City Automotive Museum. “Each club brings its own unique style and community, but we all share a love for precision, performance, and the unmistakable aesthetics that define these brands.”
This year’s show will include a special highlight—the handoff of the 2025 Art Car to students from Shawnee Mission East High School at approximately 10:00 AM. The car, a Porsche, will be turned over to the student team for their upcoming artistic transformation project. Sponsored by the Kansas City Automotive Museum, the Art Car program is an educational initiative that combines creative design, technical skills, and real-world experience for local high school students. The completed Art Car will make its debut at the 2025 Mecum Auction, with proceeds benefiting the Museum.
The All German Car Show is free to the public and all ages are welcome. Spectators can learn more about each participating club by visiting their websites:
